Sending email in oracle stored procedure

The first article of database, we will create an store procedure to send email in oracle.

We have to use UTL_SMTP to write data.

May be grant privilege execute on this SMTP, you need logged with user SYS to run following line:

1. Create store procedure sending email in Oracle

2. Execute this store procedure send email

You can send email in oracle with attachment in parametter (p_attach_name, p_attach_mine, p_attach_clob)

Warnings:

With Oracle 10g: it will run success.

With Oracle 11g or higher: you will have error as: ORA-24247: network access denied by access control list (ACL) –>Resolved this issue, you need logged user SYS and run as below:

a) Create list ACL and add user (scheme) into list

b) Add access point to the new ACL

c) Add host email and port
